Texas Agricultural & Timber Exemption

If you're a qualifying farm, ranch, or timber operation, you may be exempt from Texas sales tax on eligible purchases used exclusively for agricultural or timber production. Download the form below, fill it out, and submit it through this page so we can apply the exemption to your account.

This must be completed before your purchase. We're unable to refund sales tax on orders that have already been placed.

Good to know: the exemption applies only to items used exclusively on your qualifying ag/timber operation — not to general household or personal purchases. Your Texas Ag/Timber Registration Number (issued by the Texas Comptroller) must be current; these numbers expire at the end of every fourth year. If your number has expired or you don't have one yet, apply or renew at comptroller.texas.gov/taxes/ag-timber before submitting this form.
